Halloween Trick and Treat Candy Collection

October 6, 2024

We will be participating in the annual Town of Abingdon Trick ‘r Treat event. We are collecting individually wrapped candy to be added to the bags that have information about the church and the good news of Jesus. You can drop candy off in the church foyer by October 6 or donate funds for candy. This allows time for Wilma and her crew to prepare the bags to be handed out. Town of Abingdon Trick or Treating Event

Town of Abingdon Trick or Treating. A great opportunity to reach out to our community by having a table for the town's Trick and Treat event. We had the opportunity to connect with over 3,000 people in 4 short hours. Sign up at the Connection Corner for a time slot to help setup, pass out or tear down that evening.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Due November 17, 2024

Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Shoeboxes are available on the stage.

We will be delivering them to Boone, NC on November 23. See Mr. Tim if interested in helping deliver the boxes.
